In an unusual combination of rural and hyperurban motifs, and the collision of primordial consciousness and high-tech civilization, Griffiths wrote occasionally brutal prose, a novel interspersed with unforgettable black humor dialogues, but also a social, economic and political analysis of the position of Wales in the United Kingdom.
