Gađenje: Tomas Bernhard u San Salvadoru

Gađenje: Tomas Bernhard u San Salvadoru

Horacio Castellanos Moya

The story of the book is more than simple: due to the death of his mother, the main character, Vega, comes from Canada to Salvador. After the funeral and property division, he meets his old friend, Moya, one of the few people with whom Vega can talk norma

The novel actually represents the type of Vega's confession narrated by Moya. The duality of the writer can be observed here - who is recognized both in the character of Vega, and undisguisedly or intentionally in the character of Moya, in order to reveal his identity at the end of the novel. The book also contains numerous conversations, sharp social criticism, above all criticism of modern Salvador.

Elizabeth tirelessly lectures and gives speeches all over the world. Although it is not entirely clear in this work where fiction ends and fiction begins, the character of Elizabeth is a metaphor for a writer who does not write but gives formal speeches.
