Suvremena svjetska književnost

Suvremena svjetska književnost

Milivoj Solar

This book discusses some problems of the study of world literature, the position of literature in our time, the peculiarities of contemporary literary expression and some development trends of contemporary literary production.

The book can also be understood as a manual intended for all those who, for whatever reason, are interested in some basic knowledge about contemporary literature. That third edition was reworked and supplemented with what the established concept of postmodernism brought to literary production and science. An analysis of Calvin's, Kundera's, Eco's and other works of postmodern prose, poetry and drama has also been added to the previous examples of key works of world contemporary literature.
