Domjanić's most famous collection of Kajkavian songs was first published in Zagreb in 1917 by the Croatian Writers' Association. A second, bibliophile edition of the collection was published for Christmas 1922.
Kajkava's collection "In sun and shadow" was published in 1927 in a luxurious calligraphic edition and contains several anthology songs that are extremely popular to this day (Kaj, Fala).
The short story collection Croatian god Mars by Miroslav Krleža is one of the most important anti-war works of Croatian literature. It was first issued in 1922, then in 1933, and took its final form in 1947.
The novel "Olga and Lina" by Eugen Kumičić, a famous Croatian writer from the period of realism, is one of his works in which he explores complex interpersonal relationships, moral dilemmas and social norms.
