Zagor LU #80: Indijansko groblje
A mysterious illness weakens Zagor at the cursed Pegleg mine. The search for gold reveals a supernatural threat, with Sektar holding a secret linked to an ancient burial ground.
Indijansko groblje concludes an adventure in which the pursuit of gold becomes supernatural horror and a struggle for survival. At Pegleg’s mine, Zagor encounters an illness that drains newcomers and alters their behaviour. Sektar, a mysterious member of the Micmac people, is connected to a threat reaching beyond ordinary crime and greed.
Ade Capone builds suspense by gradually removing the hero’s usual advantages. Zagor can no longer rely solely on strength and fighting skills: his own body becomes an obstacle, while his observations demand an unfamiliar explanation. Illness, isolation and the uncertain boundary between life and death give the adventure its dark character.
The mine, supposedly a place of promised wealth, becomes a confined landscape of fear. Gold fever and human greed intersect with disturbing rituals, while the burial ground of the title becomes the central image of menace. Francesco Gamba illustrates the shifts between investigation, dialogue and action.
The story begins in the closing section of Zatrovani tomahavk, develops in Prokleto zlato and reaches its conclusion here. Regular Ludens issues 78–80 are required for the complete adventure, which takes Zagor firmly into the territory of horror.
