After her husband Matt is assassinated, Nealy, feeling trapped in the White House and the media circus, runs away from the Secret Service. Nealy, under the assumed name Nell Kelly, becomes their housekeeper and chauffeur, embarking on adventures ranging from campaign repairs to encounters with the media and family crises.
