Pomaganje neprijatelju

Elmore Leonard

The book brings together three stories by this popular American writer ("Showdown in Checotah", "Louly and Pretty Boy", and the title story "Aid to the Enemy") and represents a kind of introduction to the now classic saga of Carlos "Carlo" Huntington Webs

"The Showdown in Checotah" tells the story of the events that led Carl to become a famous Oklahoma sheriff, culminating in a showdown with hardened criminal Frank Miller. In "Louly and the Pretty Boy," the main character is a young girl named Louly, who becomes involved with criminal Joe Young in the hope that he will one day lead her to the even more famous and infamous Pretty Boy, for whom she secretly longed. In the third and final story, "Aid to the Enemy," which is somewhere between a short novel and a long story, Carl investigates the suicide of a German prisoner at the Deep Fork camp.
