Moje zatvorske ćelije
"My Prison Cells" by Joško Kragelj is an autobiographical book in which the author describes the years he spent in Yugoslav prisons for political reasons.
Through a series of episodes, it depicts everyday life behind bars – physical and psychological pressures, relationships between prisoners, the injustice of the system and the struggle for dignity. The book is at once a testimony of repression and a personal confession of survival, willpower and preserving identity in difficult circumstances. Its realistic and honest style makes it a powerful document of a time and political reality.
