A Seed of Grass is a warm, poetic and emotional story about growing up, friendship and the power of nature, told from the perspective of a little girl, Milica, who lives in a village near a large plain. The story begins when Milica finds a tiny, inconspicuous seed of grass in a crack in the ground. Although it seems insignificant, the girl plants it with love, believing that great miracles can come from small things. As the grass grows, so does Milica – and her understanding of the world, people and nature develops in parallel. The grass becomes a symbol of perseverance, life and renewal, while through it Milica learns about responsibility, patience and transience.
