Right-wing populists would replace the ideologically justified and publicly declared discrimination based on class origin, as practiced by communist systems, with classification based on ethnicity, race, and religion. Just as class discrimination in communist states did not exclude discrimination based on ethnicity, race, and religion, so too does the classification based on ethnicity, race, and religion, advocated by right-wing populists, exclude discrimination based on class, or property status.
