Rime
"Rime" is a collection of lyric poems by the Italian poet Guido Cavalcanti (c. 1255–1300), one of the most significant representatives of the Dolce Stil Novo movement.
The "Rime" represent the pinnacle of early Italian lyric poetry and are an important foundation of the European literary tradition. Cavalcanti's analysis of love, suffering, and the human psyche makes an original and philosophically profound contribution to the Dolce Stil Novo movement, leaving a strong influence on later poets, including Dante Alighieri.
