Drago Maksimović

The last commander of the 68th Battalion, a Vukovar defender, Drago Maksimović, is also the author of the book "Breviary of Hopelessness", which talks about the problems of the defenders after the Homeland War.

This is Maksimović's second book. The first was a collection of war stories. The fourteen stories, seemingly unrelated, bear a strong imprint of the author's personality. In several of them, those privileged, through the veil of hazy Danube dawns, can glimpse elements of autobiographical expression.
