Osnove uredske informatike

Osnove uredske informatike

Josip Balen

The book is intended for users without prior IT knowledge, users whose prior knowledge is at a beginner level, users who want to improve their knowledge, and students of the Office Informatics course.

This book will introduce you to: personal computers, using the Windows XP operating system, the MS Word 2003 word processing and writing program, the MS Excel 2003 spreadsheet program, the Internet Explorer web browser program, reading and sending free e-mail on the website www.net.hr, the Outlook Express e-mail reading and sending program. At the end of the book, there is an IT dictionary with the most frequently used expressions and terms in office IT. The texts are accompanied by appropriate illustrations, and the instructions are given in a "step-by-step" manner for easier familiarization and understanding of the programs. The book was created based on the experience gained while teaching the Office IT course at the Memoria College. Through the Office IT course, we train participants to work on a computer in the listed programs. These programs form the basis of office IT and are sufficient for working on a computer in an office or any other workplace that requires computer skills.
