The 1989 album One Night Of Sin is one of the key releases in Joe Cocker's later career. Released under the auspices of Capitol Records (cat. no. CDP 7 91828 2 / CDEST 2098), this European CD delivers a superb blend of pop-rock, blues and soul, carried by Cocker's distinctive, raspy vocals.
The release contains a total of 12 tracks, among which the big hit "When The Night Comes" (written by Bryan Adams, Diane Warren and Jim Vallance), the title track "One Night Of Sin", and outstanding covers such as Leonard Cohen's "I'm Your Man" and the timeless standard "Fever". The musical diversity is also contributed by a rich production featuring prominent musicians and the famous horn section Uptown Horns.
