Zagor LU #252: Vjetar pobune

Vjetar pobune continues the Brazilian adventure begun in Bahia u krvi. Tension on plantations and city streets erupts into violence, giving Zagor’s mission both a personal and a social dimension: helping a friend means confronting slavery.

Zagor and Chico reunite with Rodrigues Lobo, an acquaintance from Africa. They join his search for Kismeth, his companion who has been sold into slavery in Brazil. Meanwhile, Dexter Green prepares to travel towards his mysterious destination.

Mignacco connects the search for an abducted woman with an uprising of the oppressed. An individual fate reveals the human cost of a society that treats people as property. Zagor must navigate competing interests as resentment and fear leave increasingly little room for peaceful action.

Raffaele Della Monica moves between urban and plantation settings, tense encounters and action. Lobo’s determination to find the woman he loves gives the wider conflict an emotional centre, keeping the adventure focused on individual lives rather than anonymous opposing forces.

This is the middle chapter of the storyline spanning Ludens #251–253. Following Bahia u krvi, it develops the conflict that reaches its conclusion in Armija luđaka.
