Slavonian War Writing: A Monograph is a scientific study by Goran Rem, a literary historian and poet from Slavonia, on the corpus of war texts written in Slavonia and Baranja during the Homeland War (1991–1994/1995).
The first third of the book provides reviews of Russian literature (Chekhov, Ljeskov, Pushkin...). The second chapter deals with world literature (Balzac, Stendhal, Roland...), and the third chapter contains general articles.
Figures in our folk poetry, (JAZU 1880), is published in a reprint after a full 108 years. This classic work of Croatian philology is the first and to this day the only thorough and reliable systematization of tropes and figures in our country.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Ranko Marinković's birth, Pavao Pavličić, who has been studying the author's work for years, has prepared a book of studies and essays dedicated to this classic of Croatian literature.
He has now published his book from 1995, "Word, Image, City", which was sold out a long time ago, and which was searched in vain in antiquarian bookshops, in an expanded version "Word, Image, City, War".
The work is theoretically based, but also focused on application in literary analysis, which is why it plays an important role in Croatian literary theory and academic teaching.
