Veličanstveni izvor je roman Ayn Rand koji se bavi temama individualizma, kreativnosti i borbe protiv konformizma. Glavni lik, arhitekt Howard Roark, predstavlja ideal individualista koji se bori za svoja načela i ne pristaje na kompromis.

Roark se suočava s mnogim izazovima, uključujući otpor društva, tradicionalne norme i rivalstvo s kolegama, poput Petera Keatinga, koji simbolizira konformizam i mediokritet. Kroz likove poput Dominique Francon, koja se zaljubljuje u Roarka, i Ellsworth Tooheyja, manipulatora koji teži kontroliranju javnog mnijenja, Rand istražuje konflikte između individualne slobode i društvene norme.
