Oliver Twist (1837–1839) is the second novel by Charles Dickens and one of the most famous works of world literature. The first great social novel to openly confront the misery, poverty, and injustice of Victorian England.
The work is a combination of documentary records, personal reflections, and literary episodes, bringing the reader both historical information and an intimate picture of the war days.
The novel "Autumn of the Cat" describes the childhood of a sensitive and misunderstood girl, Ilse, who grows up in difficult social conditions in post-war Germany.
After the recently published first novel "The Sugar Lord", N. Mihaljević will once again delight children with the interesting crime-adventure novel "Heroes of the Dusty Tower".
