Anđeli naši svagdašnji

Anđeli naši svagdašnji

Michal Viewegh

As usual, the author weaves stories from stories in his own unique way, creates life from life, and this book is perhaps his most personal, most moving and warmest work.

It is Tuesday, September 5, 2006, a suburb of Prague. Fifty-two-year-old Karel is living the last day of his life, but only angels know that at that moment...

This is the story of a driving instructor, a young widow, a suicide bomber and four unusual angels. This is a novel about a day in which the destinies of three people will intertwine and merge into one, on pages that will make you laugh and cry, and maybe teach you to recognize angels even when you can't see them.

The author himself says for the novel that it is a story about people, angels and dying or a book about ourselves whose time is measured even though we constantly act as if we are here forever.
