Hrvatski velikani

Božo Skoko

In the book, the author gives a brief account of each of the great men, regardless of whether they are Croatian or foreign, who in some way owed Croatia a debt with their life and work.

The author approaches the topic by analyzing the representation of names in the squares of Croatian cities, monuments, institutions, on awards, banknotes, postage stamps... The book contains lists of the 25 most represented great men who receive the most attention, the 300 most deserving from various fields of activity and the 100 greatest according to numerous criteria.
