Život i priča I-II

Život i priča I-II

Jara Ribnikar

” We live in fragments. It is not true that our life is a river. Even less that there can be Roma. Our life consists of fragments, and there is a gap between them.''

After her husband's death in 1955, Jara began writing prose and published a dozen novels and several collections of short stories. Her most famous novel was "Jan Nepomucki" (1969), which was among the finalists for the NIN award1. Between 1979 and 1991, she published five volumes of memoirs under the title "Life and Story"
