Lijepa naša Hrvatska

The new, fourth edition of Llijepa naše Hrvatska was published in a print run of 10,000 copies in Croatian, English and German. It is a supplemented and enriched edition of the book that was first published in 1972, after the Croatian Spring. So far, 108,000 copies have been published that have toured Croatia and the world, giving a picture of the cultural heritage, natural and ethnographic values and other peculiarities of our beautiful country. The historical development of Croatia, our national parks, folk costumes and ethnography, as well as monuments and localities from two important international lists are shown: the UNESCO World Heritage List and the Mediterranean List of the Most Outstanding Historic Cities. The following is an overview of all regions and counties in Croatia, from the capital Zagreb to Dubrovnik and Cavtat. At the end of the book there are two extremely rich and valuable contributions, The Little Land of Great Athletes with 200 color reproductions and an overview of cultural, art and film festivals on the Adriatic.
