Tvrdica / Tartif

Tvrdica / Tartif

Žan Batist Poklen Molijer

Moliere's comedies are deeply rooted in human nature and social relations, and his ability to reveal the truth through laughter makes him an unforgettable writer.

  • Fortress (L'Avare): This is a comedy that follows the life of Harpagon, a stubborn and immoral host. In the center of the plot are young couples in love, and Moliere skilfully portrays human characters and family puzzles. -Tartif (Le Tartuffe): This is another Moliere comedy that deals with hypocrisy and moral duplicity. The main character, Tartif, is portrayed as a false pious man who tries to deceive the family for his own benefit. This comedy is an excellent work that still has relevance today.
