The second installment of the Heart Walk series.
There are many reasons why Bailey Hartwell can feel satisfied - she has a successful job, a close circle of friends and a boyfriend with whom she has been in a serious relationship for years. The only person who makes her uneasy is Vaughn Tremaine.
She can't deny that he is attractive and successful, but she is threatened by his attitude - she is convinced that this newcomer from New York treats all her fellow citizens in a high and superior manner. Especially according to her.
On the other hand, Vaughn admires her free spirit, independence and loyalty. He is aware that Bailey is insanely attracted to him, and the reality in which she openly despises him is unspeakably painful.
Can the Walk of the Heart once again create magic and bring two young people together forever, or is it just a cheap trick that their town on the coast is known for, and only tourists fall for it?
