Soba za razbijanje

Soba za razbijanje

Tomislav Zajec

The debut of a local young author brings us a story about Zagreb's jet-set drug scene.

The literary methods used in the book are intended to evoke the superficiality and meaninglessness of the addict's life: superficiality in everyday life, in which the most attention is paid to expensive brands of clothes and cosmetics, superficiality in relationships with family, "friends" and partners, meaninglessness in the succession of days filled with pills, vodka, thefts, cocaine, weed, beatings, heroin, rapes and murders.
