The second part of the Kurlan trilogy, set on the eve of World War II in the Cetinje region, follows Gara, a 16-year-old girl from Donje Kurlani. Pregnant from an affair with an unknown man, Gara faces social condemnation and patriarchal pressures.

Djela Augusta Šenoe: Seljačka buna

August Šenoa's historical novel, which was published in Vijenec in 1877, and was published as a book in 1878. The novel is subtitled "Historical Narrative XVI. century" so it can be seen as a historical monograph in the form of a novel.

The main character of the novel is a typical loser - he taxis rich bums in Melbourne (or any city in the world) and wastes his life seemingly for nothing, suffers from chronic social mistrust and routine life inertia.
