Djeca četvrtka

Djeca četvrtka

Nicci French

Two crimes, separated by generations... More than twenty years ago, teenager Frieda Klein experienced a cruel attack in her own home. No one believed her - neither the police, nor her mother, nor her friends.

She left her hometown, became a famous psychotherapist and never returned. But then an old school friend knocked on her door. She is seeking help for her daughter who claims she was attacked in her home. The attack is eerily reminiscent of the one that happened to Frieda. This time too, no one believes the girl's story. And so - right before the graduation anniversary gathering - Frieda returns to the darkness from which she escaped, to the town that denied her help and that hides a terrible secret. Someone at that gathering knows what happened and will stop at nothing to prevent Frieda from discovering the truth...
