Zbirka Hanžeković

Zbirka Hanžeković

Igor Zidić, Daniel Zec, Ivica Šola, Katarina Ott

One of the largest private collections in our country and the only one that lasts through several generations, the Hanžeković Collection of the famous lawyer Marijan Hanžeković.

The collection contains almost all the relevant names of painters and sculptors of Croatian art from the end of the 19th century, the entire 20th century and even the beginning of the millennium, such as V. Bukovac, M. C. Medović, M. C. Crnčić, B. Č. Sesije, M. Trepšea, M. Uzelc, V. Gecana, Lj. Babić or M. Tartaglia. Some of the works from this collection are excellent examples of works of art, indispensable when organizing large retrospective exhibitions.
