The letter from an unknown man is published in tomorrow's edition of the newspaper, and readers' reactions, among other things, bring two new messages in a bottle. Moved by the author's emotion, Theresa sets out on a search, which soon leads her to the attractive boat restorer, Garret Blake.
And indeed, Garret is still grieving for his wife, and Theresa, herself unhappy due to the recent breakdown of her marriage, finds in Garret the man of her life. But the past still stands between the two unhappy lovers.
