Elizabeth I was the most famous English queen.

She was the sixth and last ruler from the Tudor dynasty, who ruled for 44 years, and whose reign was marked by the strengthening of English power and influence in the world, as well as religious turmoil in England itself. The time of her reign is called the Golden Era of Elizabeth, in which the economic power of England grew, and science, philosophy and culture flourished.
