Dosetka i njen odnos prema nesvesnom
A book from 1905 on the psychoanalysis of jokes and humor by Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis. In the work, Freud describes the psychological processes and techniques of jokes, which he compares to the processes and techniques of work in sleep
Freud claims that "our enjoyment of a joke" indicates what is suppressed in a more serious conversation. Freud argues that the success of a joke depends on a psychic economy, whereby the joke allows inhibitions to be overcome.
According to Freud, understanding the technique of a joke is essential to understanding jokes and their relationship with the unconscious, but it is precisely these techniques that make a joke a joke. Freud also noted that a listener who laughs heartily at a joke will usually not be in the mood to explore its technique.
