Autobus za mjesec

Autobus za mjesec

Mladen Kopjar

Every day at dawn, from the corner of Maštogradska and Djetinjasta streets, a bus to the Moon leaves. It is, of course, a special bus, which does not have oil in the fuel tank, but dreams.

Talking socks, golden-haired fairies and ice gnomes travel with the children, and a dinosaur egg lies in a special basket. Through the windows of the bus, an attentive observer will notice unusual landscapes, stars in the snow, and icing for cakes in the blue sky. Or maybe they are houses for angels? While the bus is humming, it's easy to make friends with the passenger on the next seat, and sometimes you even speak the language of love. The long journey to the moon and back then passes in an instant. Mom and dad are already waiting at the bus stop with a toothbrush and toothpaste. The paste has an orange aroma, and turns yellow like moonlight.
