Oskar Herman (1886–1974) was a Croatian-Jewish painter. He was one of the group of Croatian artists known as the Munich Circle, who had a strong influence on modern art in Croatia.
Famous architect, conservator and columnist Zrinka Paladino brings a great chronicle of Zagreb, its architecture, devastation and society. All columns in one place for the first time, enriched with new writings, illustrations and photographs.
The monograph also provides a biographical framework, an analysis of thematic cycles, an interpretation of the artist's dominant motifs, and numerous reproductions of paintings.
