Autodestruktivan kao i mnogi glazbenici, Kent je analitično pisao o onima s kojima se družio i koje je odlično razumio: o Whitney Houston, Davidu Bowieu, Jerryu Leeu Lewisu, Jimu Morrisonu, Johnu Lennonu, Eminemu, Johnyju Cashu, Neilu Youngu, Iggyju Popu i dr.
