Ten-year-old Addie is keeping a dangerous secret. It all started on her birthday, when bombings rang out all over the city, and her father came home covered in blood. At first he thinks he was injured in the attacks, but soon he and his older sister Jessie find the missing woman's wallet in his room. Jessie assures her that there is nothing to worry about, but when she takes a job as a nanny for the missing woman's daughter, Addie realizes that her sister knows much more than she is letting on, and that their secret could be devastating to other people's lives...
