Za knjigu bi više odgovarao naslov Žena koja živi (svoje) snove. Siromašna devojka je i dalje u neverici da su joj se želje i snovi ostvarili, neprestano se raduje tome i ima potrebu da tu radost podeli sa drugima. Ali da ne krije tugu i nevolje kroz koje je prolazila. Kontroverzan, netipičan, uspešan i elegantan (svesno) želi da bude primećen. Istovremeno, ona ruši neke ograde, pretpostavke i stereotipe društva o tome kako treba da izgleda univerzitetski nastavnik i naučnik...
