"Shadow People" is the seventh issue of the "Nathan Never" series, published by Slobodna Dalmacija. The script was written by Antonio Serra, and the drawing is signed by Nicola Mari.
Nathan Never is a former police officer who is haunted by the turbulent ghosts of the past caused by tragic events. His wife Laura Lorring was killed by the criminal Ned Mace in front of their daughter Ann, whom he then kidnaps. From that moment, on the verge of a nervous breakdown, Nathan Never decides to leave his job as a policeman and after a certain time spent in seclusion becomes a special agent of the Alpha agency.
Nathan embodies an ordinary man of flesh and blood with all the virtues and flaws, without any superheroic elements or any supernatural abilities. It is surrounded by a merciless futuristic world after the nuclear holocaust caused by experiments in the very center of our planet, as a result of which the Earth changed its appearance significantly. Every day in that world represents a struggle for bare life, so fans of science fiction and action will find their way in adventures bursting with adrenaline...
In this episode, Nathan Never, a special agent of the Alpha Agency, faces a new challenge in a futuristic city full of crime and corruption.
