Milivoj Slaviček

"Always Settled" is a collection of poems by Milivoje Slaviček in which the author explores themes of permanence, home, homeland, belonging, and spiritual rootedness through an intimate, lyrical tone.

Slaviček's poetry exudes calmness, a sense of nature and everyday life, but at the same time carries a deep reflection on man's place in the world and the eternal connection with the space from which he originated.

The title of the collection symbolically refers to the idea of permanent rootedness - not only in physical space, but also in spiritual, family and cultural identity. The poet depicts nature, people and customs in simple images, and all this is permeated with quiet patriotism and gratitude for life. At the same time, in the background, he often feels the transience of time and a slight sadness for the loss of the world as it disappears.

Slaviček writes in a clear, unobtrusive style, close to the common man, but at the same time deeply thoughtful. His poetry is not pathetic or heavy, but warm, moderate and interwoven with gentle philosophical reflection. "Always Inhabited" testifies to the poet's inner peace, faith in the value of home and life in harmony with nature and one's own being.

This collection represents a silent but powerful monument to the idea of home and man's inextricable connection to space, community, and spiritual heritage.
