Robin Hood

Robin Hood

Alexandre Dumas

Dumas portrays Robin Hood not only as a bandit who helps the poor, but also as a heroic fighter for justice and a symbol of resistance to feudal injustice.

Robin Hood is a legendary folk hero of English folklore, known as an outlaw who robs the rich and gives to the poor. Over the centuries, his story has grown from a simple folk ballad into a complex literary and cultural phenomenon. His character has inspired numerous writers, including Alexandre Dumas, but also others, such as Howard Pyle, Sir Walter Scott, and countless film and television adaptations.
