Botanički leksikon : latinsko-hrvatski i hrvatsko-latinski

Botanički leksikon : latinsko-hrvatski i hrvatsko-latinski

Ivan Šugar

In addition to botanical terms, the dictionary contains many words that are not found even in large Latin dictionaries, including geographical names.

The content of the Botanical Lexicon sometimes goes beyond the scope of the botanical profession, but this should not be considered a shortcoming, because on the one hand it is difficult to precisely define the area of terminology of a profession, so it is better to cover it more broadly than narrowly, and on the other hand, since botanical texts were and still are written in Latin, it is useful for easier reading and better understanding that they are also included in this lexicon.
