Upoznajmo svijet: Glazbala

Neil Ardley

Discover the mysterious world of sounds and the unusual variety of instruments that create them. Richly illustrated, instruments from all over the world.

The book Introducing the World: Musical Instruments by Neil Ardley is an educational and richly illustrated work intended for children and young people, but also for all readers who want to learn about the world of music. Published in 1991, the book explains in a simple and interesting way what musical instruments are, how sounds are created and how different instruments are used in music around the world. The author divides musical instruments into basic groups according to the way they produce sound: percussion, stringed instruments, wind instruments and electronic instruments. Each group is accompanied by clear explanations, drawings and examples of well-known instruments such as drums, violin, guitar, flute, trumpet and piano. Special attention is paid to how sound is produced by the vibration of strings, air or membranes.
