Ilustrovani katalog učila za osnovne škole i zabavišta sa cjenikom na skladištu u knjižari St. Kugli
Illustrated catalogs of teaching aids were a key sales and information tool for schools, teachers, and educators. Today, such catalogs have significant antiquarian and documentary value, as they bear witness to the development of education, visual culture
The catalogue contains detailed illustrations of teaching aids: wall boards, school maps, maps, globes, anatomical models, didactic cubes, geometric sets, teaching pictures for natural science, art materials, and various toys and teaching aids for kindergartens. The illustrations were made in the lithography technique, and their purpose was to present the teaching aids clearly enough for schools to order them without physical inspection.
In addition to the visual presentation, the catalogue includes a description of the material, dimensions, purpose and teaching value of each teaching aid. Price lists are an integral part of the catalogue, with an emphasis on favorable prices for schools and the possibility of ordering by mail. The catalogues sometimes also offered packages - equipment for one class or a set of didactic materials for kindergartens.
Given the traditional role of the St. Kugli bookstore in the distribution of school materials, this 1938 edition represents a wide range of then-modern teaching aids, aligned with the school curricula of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
