The book The Public Information Act is an expert legal commentary on the then Croatian law governing the area of public information, media and freedom of expression.
The book explains in detail the provisions of the law relating to the work of journalists, media responsibility, the right to correction and reply, the protection of privacy and restrictions on the freedom of public communication in accordance with the Constitution and European standards. Special attention is paid to the balance between media freedom and the protection of other rights, such as honour, reputation and personal data. The book also analyses case law and practical problems that arise in the application of the law in journalistic work and court proceedings.
