Jugoton Album No. 2 from 1971. A collection of 25 popular domestic hits with sheet music, lyrics and chords. Includes songs by Miša Kovač, Gabi Novak and others.

Original release by Muzičke edicija Jugoton with sheet music, lyrics and chords for performing the most popular domestic compositions of that time.

The album contains 25 songs by famous authors and performers of Yugoslav pop music, including Mišo Kovač, Gabi Novak and Miki Jevremović. The represented composers and songwriters are Đorđe Novković, Stjepan Mihaljinac, Nikica Kalogjera, Alfij Kabilj, Zvonimir Runjić, Vinko Čaklec, Drago Britvić, Svetozar Piletić and other notable authors who marked the music scene in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Among the songs on the album are "Let the old wine flow", "Klik-klak", "In the mountain a green pine grows", "Lola", "Why should I live", "Sitting Ćiro", "Tanja", "You about whom I dream", "Oh little Judy", "And when I return to you again", "My sorrow, you remain with me", "Tsar Nikolaj", "Everything I want", "Let your lute play", "Let love live in us", "Lost days of happiness", "In the Slovenian land", "Red roses", "I know there is a path" and "Consider". Each song is accompanied by the authors of the lyrics and music, as well as information about the original Jugoton releases on which the songs were published.

Each composition includes a musical notation of the melody, lyrics and harmonic notations (chords), which makes this publication interesting for both collectors of Jugoton's releases and music history lovers, musicians, singers, researchers of domestic discography and everyone involved in performing and studying popular music from the former Yugoslavia.

An interesting collector's item from the golden age of Jugoton and domestic popular music.
