Izazov istine
The magazine features articles by young Dominicans on faith, theology, and the challenges of contemporary society. It promotes the Dominican charism of preaching, the pursuit of truth (*Veritas*), and the spiritual growth of young people.
"Izazov istine" (The Challenge of Truth)—a publication by young Croatian Dominicans (launched in 2004)—is a periodical reflecting the spiritual, intellectual, and pastoral endeavors of the younger generation of the Order of Preachers (OP) in Croatia. The magazine is imbued with the fundamental motto of the Dominican Order—Veritas (Truth)—and emphasizes open dialogue between Christian faith, theological thought, and the contemporary social challenges young people face daily. Its content spans a wide range of topics: from theological and philosophical essays and reflections on Dominican spirituality and St. Dominic, to coverage of current social events, ethical issues, and culture. The magazine also features personal testimonies, news regarding Dominican youth activities, pilgrimages, and gatherings, as well as reviews of books and works of art. It plays a vital role in the formation of young believers and intellectuals, encouraging critical reflection, the deepening of faith, and active witness within society. "Izazov istine" stands as a testament to the living presence of the Dominican charism among young people at the beginning of the 21st century.
