Bourneova nadmoć

Bourneova nadmoć

Robert Ludlum

The Bourne Supremacy is the second novel in the famous Jason Bourne series, written by Robert Ludlum. The book was published in 1986 and is a continuation of The Bourne Identity.

The story continues to follow Jason Bourne, an amnesiac secret agent and assassin, who faces new threats while trying to protect his identity and family.

In this sequel, Bourne faces the threat of an impersonator using his name to commit assassinations. As he tries to uncover who is behind these conspiracies, he uncovers a wider web of political intrigue involving major powers such as China, the USSR and the USA. The action moves between Asia and Europe, and Bourne must rely on his survival skills and strategic thinking to protect his wife Marie, who has been kidnapped.

The novel brings a tense plot, complex plots and moral dilemmas that are characteristic of Ludlum's works. The character of Jason Bourne explores the limits of the human psyche, confronting the past and fighting against malevolent powers.

The 2004 film inspired by this novel differs significantly from the book. Although it shares the basic motifs, the film relies more on action and is adapted for a contemporary audience, while the novel provides a deeper insight into the political and psychological aspects of the story.
