Priča nastavlja pratiti Jasona Bournea, tajnog agenta i ubojicu s izgubljenim sjećanjem, koji se suočava s novim prijetnjama dok pokušava zaštititi svoj identitet i obitelj.

U ovom nastavku, Bourne se suočava s prijetnjom od imitatora koji koristi njegovo ime kako bi počinio atentate. Dok pokušava razotkriti tko stoji iza tih zavjera, otkriva širu mrežu političkih intriga koja uključuje velike sile poput Kine, SSSR-a i SAD-a.
