Boris Akunin pseudonim je Moskovljanina gruzijskog podrijetla Grigorija Čhartišvilija. Mnogi su mu romani ekranizirani, pa tako i «Državni savjetnik» u kojem nastupaju slavni ruski redatelj Nikita Mihalkov i glumac Oleg Menjšikov.
