Doživljaji dobrog vojnika Švejka 1-2
The legendary character and work of the good soldier Švejk, although created about a hundred years ago, are still fresh and arouse the interest of the readership again and again.
The descriptions of human shortcomings and weaknesses, so wonderfully embodied in this literary antihero, are simply irresistible! Few people in literary history knew how to spot them, mock them, laugh in their face, but also affirm their humane side as the father of the "good-natured fool" Jaroslav Hašek. A great humorist and socially engaged satirist, Hašek is also a great storyteller, with a deliberately simplified style, close to oral storytelling, the kind that has its most authentic place in an inn of bygone times, with a pint of beer - a place and atmosphere that were very familiar to him in his everyday life. and close.
