Mister No SD #11: Ledena tamnica

In Ledena tamnica, Mister No and the other survivors of a plane crash remain stranded in the Andes, far from settlements and any straightforward rescue. Jerry leaves to find assistance, while those remaining face cold, hunger and uncertainty. His absence places further strain on the group.

The struggle against nature becomes a struggle to preserve humanity. Scarcity and fear change the passengers’ behaviour, setting the need for cooperation against individual survival instincts. The mountains become a prison without walls, where escape depends on physical endurance and decisions made under mounting pressure.

Luigi Mignacco combines adventure with psychological suspense, exploring how fragile familiar rules can become when ordinary life disappears. For Jerry, the rescue effort carries responsibility towards people whose behaviour grows increasingly difficult to predict. Gino Pallotti illustrates the collision between a hostile environment and human vulnerability, giving the episode a claustrophobic atmosphere despite its vast mountain setting. This issue concludes the story begun in Preživjeli. Read together, the two instalments form a survival adventure concerned as much with human conduct as with finding a route to safety.
