Zagor LU #346: Nitko nije nedužan
Zagor investigates Heavenwood’s respectable façade, while the plight of a nearby Native American tribe raises disturbing questions about the town.
In Nitko nije nedužan, Zagor continues his investigation in Heavenwood, a small town whose inhabitants cultivate an image of honesty and hospitality. Behind polite conversations and respectable faces, however, lie secrets connected to the violence that brought him there.
The condition of a Native American tribe living in the nearby forest raises further suspicions. Once proud and independent, its members have been devastated by alcohol. Understanding their plight becomes central to the investigation, as Zagor seeks connections between events in town and life beyond its boundaries.
Tito Faraci develops a crime western in which danger is woven into everyday social relationships. Reputation offers no guarantee of integrity, and apparent civility can make wrongdoing harder to recognise. Responsibility, concealment and the treatment of vulnerable people give the adventure a social dimension alongside its mystery and action.
Marcello Mangiantini’s artwork follows Zagor through conflicting impressions and mounting danger. This is the middle instalment of a three-part story, following Dobrodošli u Heavenwood and leading into the conclusion, Vukovi i janjad.
